Who is Nicole Masters?
Since 1999, Nicole has been working at the intersection of regenerative thinking, leadership, and systems change. Across more than two decades as an educator, nothing energizes her more than supporting people and organizations to rethink how they learn, lead, and make decisions in complex systems.
Formally trained in soil science, organizational learning, pattern thinking, and adult education, Nicole believes that meaningful transformation begins with experience. Her work spans a wide range of sectors - from agriculture and land stewardship to business and community leadership - where she continually returns to a guiding question: What would nature do?
Drawing on patterns found in living systems, Nicole helps leaders and teams develop the awareness, relationships, and adaptive capacity needed to navigate uncertainty and change. Her work focuses on shifting mindsets and behaviors so that people can move beyond linear problem-solving toward more holistic, resilient ways of thinking and working together.
Nicole’s insights center on the idea that thriving systems - whether ecological, organizational, or social - depend on healthy relationships, feedback loops, and the willingness to learn from experience. She champions the belief that when people reconnect with these principles, their relationship with each other and with the systems they steward can shift in profound ways.
Her book For the Love of Soil shares more of her journey and philosophy. Nicole is available for keynote addresses, coaching, and collaborative projects focused on leadership, systems thinking, and organizational change.
